Naomi Freundlich, Institutional Engagement Manager
Naomi began working as the Institutional Engagement Manager in January 2017. As a strategic communications consultant she has worked with program officers, CEOs and Directors at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Commonwealth Fund, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Columbia University among many other non-profit and academic organizations. In her years as a journalist specializing in public health, medicine and research, Naomi developed an expertise in communicating complex subjects through story-telling and cogent analysis of developing trends. Before coming to Ramapo, Naomi worked as Science Editor at Business Week, freelance writer for such publications as The New York Times, Real Simple and Health, and as the Health Program Associate at The Century Foundation, a think-tank in NYC. She has master's degrees in Health Advocacy (Sarah Lawrence College) and Journalism (NYU) as well as a BA from Middlebury College.
